
Aldo Bonzi History
The town of "Aldo Bonzi" is named in honor of former owner of the parcels that are now here.
Dr. Aldo Bonzi, PhD in law at the University of the city of his birth, was beginning to his life in Turin (Torino in Italian) city located northwest of Italy in 1852.
The fate makes Don Aldo Bonzi arrive in Argentina in February of 1896 embarked on the ship "Orion" who had left the port of Genoa.
His dedication to the commercial makes it late on the board of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, after which acquired the land that would become the people that bear his name.
It's very interesting to note that at the time and simultaneously with the events that lead the founding of the town, Dr. Aldo Bonzi along with partner Don Mauricio Andreossi (born in Switzerland) acquired the now called "Stay Isabella" in the province of Cordoba was then baptized by them as "The Italian-Swiss" and set to work since the creation of a large herd of Aberdeen Angus, crops and even the construction of the main house, bought in Milan Italy, brought by ship to Buenos Aires by train to Del Campillo and ox cart to its location in the room. As a holding company formed by Dr. Bonzi motorized, then single, formed by a group of nobles and wealthy Italians all of Milan. In this context managed to exploit the benefits of "The Italian-Swiss."
Bonzi, owner of the lands now forming the party, decided to donate the parcels in 1908 for the space where the railway station giving the English railway company "Midland" the first pillar of the early history of the neighborhood.
A few years later, in 1918 donated 7 sets for use in building a chapel, parish house and school (now the parish of Our Lady of Grace).
The first auction (lot of land) is carried out by Dr. Aldo Bonzi on June 28, 1908. As evidenced by documents which indicate an official plan which includes the subdivision where it operates the auctioneer Don Carlos Velardi, according Docket 247 which reads: "According to the owner of this land of Dr. Aldo Bonzi, the town is between the streets: Gunners Ayacucho, Rio Bamba to the River Matanza and the streets were in this perimeter have been deeded to the Municipality of La Matanza, August 30, 1917. "
Before the lot where the land is auctioned off, the place was used as pasture, small fields and fifths. Don Carminoti who was the previous owner who bought the land Bonzi Don had come to possess the same buying land at Don Lino Lakes who used them to plant vegetables and brick-making kilns for this purpose. The main street and commercial neighborhood called "Lino Lakes" honoring the original owner of the land.
In a later subdivision in 1943, defines the top of the strip of land covered by streets and Camino Waist Gunners (now known as Mendeville) which was originally used for grazing and belonged to Don Juan Christopher Campion, who was a livestock pioneer Argentina.
Aldo Bonzi was initially called "Villa del Prado" and part of what was called "The Great San Justo" and only with the establishment of the railway station is called "Aldo Bonzi."
On December 23, 1917 founded the "Aldo Bonzi Development Society" and the December 25, 1927 (10 years later) opens the parish of Our Lady of Grace, both with the station significantly boost growth the neighborhood along with the arrival of immigrants.
